In front of audiences from ages 3 to 103, MagicAL Jensen combines wit, humor and audience participation with magical effects that leave audiences not only laughing, but thoroughly amazed!  As the magic just seems to happen, the audience, on-stage volunteers and the magician are caught up in a mystifying web of comedy and pure enjoyment.  MagicAL turns classic magic inside out–the magician seems lost as the magic happens in the hands of the spectators.

MagicAL’s platform routines are such a departure from traditional magic that in 2007 he was a finalist in the America’s Funniest Magician Competition! 

MagicAL has several different thirty, forty five and sixty-minute shows including comedy, magic and mentalism.  He can perform in a variety of circumstances, whether on stage, in a banquet room, or three-quarter-round cabaret, and in front of any size audience. Because he depends on comedy, simple illusions and magic of the mind, rather than large mechanical props and technical lighting and stage effects—MagicAL’s stage, music and lighting requirements are kept to a minimum.MagicAL typically tailors his performances to the client’s unique desires and creates special shows for sales promotions, trade-shows, meetings, product launches, and other events in which a client has a message to deliver.

Close-up magic is one of the most exciting kind of magic, because everything happens right under the spectator’s nose—often times even in his/her own hands. A signed card may rise out of the deck in the spectator’s hand, or be found in a sealed envelope in the magician’s wallet, or stuck behind a pane of glass. The audience’s hidden thoughts aren’t safe. MagicAL reads minds, makes small objects appear and disappear…the kind of magic that is stunning, visual, and the perfect ice-breaker for any kind of event.

MagicAL’s close-up magic is typically done completely surrounded, which makes it perfect for walk-around during the cocktail hour, or going table to table at a banquet. It is especially effective at a banquet when combined with an after-dinner stage performance.
